I comply with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
Session notes are stored securely — paper notes locked away, electronic notes password-protected.
You can request a copy of your data or ask for deletion.
No digital communication is 100% secure, so sensitive matters are best discussed in session.

Frequency — Usually weekly, but we can agree otherwise
Consistent attendance supports progress.

6. Cancellation Policy
Sessions are reserved specifically for you. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide at least 48 hours’ notice.
Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours’ notice, or missed without notice, will be charged at 100% of the session fee.
To support consistency in the therapeutic work, sessions are normally held weekly. Fortnightly sessions can be arranged where this has been discussed and agreed in advance.
Clients may take up to two consecutive weeks off without charge. If more than two consecutive sessions are missed, the third week will need to be paid for in order to continue holding your regular session time.
This policy helps ensure continuity of the work and allows me to manage my availability fairly across all clients. Genuine emergencies or exceptional circumstances will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
7. Ending Therapy
You can end at any time.
I may recommend ending if therapy is no longer beneficial, and will help with referrals.
I encourage a planned ending to reflect on progress.
